I am currently employed at Feng Chi Biotech, a biotechnology company focused on genetic testing and the development of testing products.

I specialize in the end-to-end development of clinical genetic testing products. With a unique blend of expertise in bioinformatics algorithm design, DevOps automation, and secure IT infrastructure, I have successfully led projects from inception to ISO-compliant commercialization. I am passionate about architecting scalable systems and automated pipelines that bridge the gap between complex genomic data and actionable clinical insights.

Who am I?

Was DevOps engineer in the bioinformatics department, focusing on algorithm and bioinformatics pipeline development for diagnostic oncology panels, as well as the establishment of quality control standards for oncology production.

Currently, I lead a bioinformatics team responsible for software development, maintenance, and software quality assurance. My work combines method and tool development with applications. In addition, we serve strong support to internal departments of the company, including laboratory R&D, production line, medical scientists, technology transfer, and business development to achieve the highest efficacy in product success.

Before joining Feng Chi Biotech, I had 4 years of experience in machine learning, 10+ years of experience in databases, meta'omics, computational biology, and bioinformatics. As being a manager, I have 2 year of experience in bridging the gaps between the bioinformatics department and internal departments in the company.

Experience

Over 10+ years of experience working on various project scales and within diverse teams to become a bioinformatics scientist. My passions lie in microbiology, antimicrobial resistance and disease control, leading to clinical research and drug development. I look forward to working with a global organization which offers challenging opportunities that would allow me to contribute to the organization and to humankind. I hope to apply my research knowledge to clinical treatment, including the development of possible new antibiotic drugs to fight bacterial and fungal infections.
